Wolfhound Software was founded in 2005 with the aim of bringing quality and cost effective technology solutions to small and medium sized businesses. Essentially we are a technology consulting company, specializing in Microsoft technologies.

Our primary aim is to provide businesses with cost effective technology solutions that actually have an impact on their business. We do not view potential customers as sales leads - instead we will talk with you, analyse your requirements and provide you with options on how you may improve your business processes and productivity through the intelligent deployment of technology.

In other words we won't try to sell you a solution unless we believe it will improve the way you do business. This also means that if we believe the correct solution for your business needs lies outside our areas of expertise we'll tell you and where possible provide a reliable reference for you to get that expertise.

With our combined years of experience in a wide variety of different fields and industries, our IT support, custom web design, and software services offer businesses solutions based not just on expertise, but based on experience as well.

Team Leaders

Ian Byrne - Director

Ian founded Wolfhound Software in 2005 as an innovative and competitive technology consulting company to bring customer service and technical expertise to small and mid sized businesses. He has been working in the technology sector for 16 years. Ian started as a lead engineer on one of the largest Active Directory deployments in the Education sector in the US. For the last 10 years his focus has primary been on software development using the Microsoft .NET platform.

Outside Work:
Reading, Hiking, Skiing, Guitar, Food and Wine (mostly wine), Snooker

Andrew Cahill - Network Administrator / Software Developer

After graduating from college Andrew started his IT experience with Symantec Corporation as a Support Specialist for internal support issues. In 2007 he joined Wolfhound Software as a Systems Administrator. At Wolfhound Software Andrew has assisted and managed numerous projects including the development and customization of client websites, the development of custom built large and small-scale software and the nework implementations and maintenance of several sites of large organisations. Andrew now specializes in the areas of Software development and Network Administration handling all of Wolfhound Software's Network related projects.

Hobbies and Interests:
Snooker, Poker, Reading and Playing Football.

Dan Silverlock - Web Design & Services

Dan's professional career started at Berlitz GlobalNET in the testing department. After a year of testing mostly web applications he moved to the IT department as a junior network administrator. In 2004 he moved to Rome as a Localisation Engineer and Network Administrator, before returning to Ireland in early 2006. He joined Lionbridge soon after and became the Lead Editor for Microsoft Office Online International home pages team specializing in content development and web publishing. Dan joined the Wolfhound Software team in 2010 to handle all web related projects
