It's been a while since we've updated our news section and to be perfectly honest, this is not because there's been no news. On the contrary, we've been working flat out for the last couple of months on a number of various projects in every part of our business.

I.T. Support Reports
On the I.T. side of things we've been setting up a large number of existing and new clients with BitDefender for their businesses. We partnered with BitDefender some time ago, and use their client security software for business in-house, and we believe it's one of the best value for money security products on the market.

Software Releases
At the core of Wolfhound Software's skillset is software development. We've been giving our Point-of-Sale software a large overhaul for our international clients. We're hoping to roll out a brand new version of this software in the coming weeks. The major difference with this new system is that it's running on the cloud - using Microsoft Azure. This allows offices from various locations around the globe to update information to the one central location with greater ease, also allowing for greater reporting features. We should have more news for you on our cloud based Point-of-Sale solution in the coming months, outlining its benefits and the key features with this update.

We're also creating a small tool, which we'll most likely make available for free, to any businesses who bank with A.I.B. and use Xero for their business accounting software. If you're one of a number of business in Ireland that use this setup, then you can probably guess what we've made a hell of a lot easier!

Web Design Bulletins
On the web front we've been extremely busy of late. In keeping with our development skills, we've been working on a new web booking system for one of our clients in the tourism industry. This new booking system allows for greater management of all bookings, both online and offline, and has some great new features that we've developed for it. We've integrated the new booking engine into the Umbraco content management system which will allow our clients greater control of their website, as well as their bookings and how they're managed. We expect to launch this revised site on the new system in the new couple of weeks, so check back for updates soon!

We've also been finalizing our property management system built into Umbraco, which will decrease the time spent, but increase the ease of management of selling and renting properties. On top of which sits a beautifully designed site which will give visitors an easy way of finding their ideal property.

We've begun the design and creation of a number of other websites for a variety of new clients in the building services, electrical contracting, and in the financial industry also. As well as our existing projects we're also in talking to a number of clients who are looking to get into the ever growing Irish ecommerce market!

Finally…
We're also in the early stages of a complete overhaul of our own wolfhoundsoftware.ie website. Although this current version was only launched in February of this year - yes we know it's a big improvement on the previous version - we've decided to take a different approach to the new website with a design that we feel better reflects the personality of Wolfhound Software and the people behind the wolf.

As you can see, we've been pretty busy and we like it that way. You can expect a lot of updates in the coming weeks and months as we rollout new software products and websites, so check back regularly (or click here to subscribe to our RSS feed).
